Cold that enchants

An Arctic landscape in every slab.

Glacial white speckled with crystals, like a snowfield under the aurora. Arctic Royale brings the serenity of the far north into architecture.

The material

The white of eternal ice.

Arctic Royale is a Brazilian granite with a glacial-white background speckled with grey and black crystals — like fresh-fallen snow under northern light. An igneous rock of medium granulation, formed by the slow cooling of magma: the basis for its hardness, resistance, and crystalline brilliance.

It is a serene, sophisticated material that brings openness and light to any space. It pairs with woods, dark metals, deep blues, and off-whites — a quiet protagonist on countertops, islands, and walls.

For your project

Combinations that bring the white to life.

In architecture, glacial white asks for balance: light wood to warm it, soft greens and deep neutrals to anchor it. The cool of the stone meets the warmth of the room.

Ideal for

Applications that call for light and openness.

Floors

High-traffic floors in lobbies, halls, and corporate spaces — very high mechanical strength.

Indoor Areas

Countertops, islands, tables, and walls — the speckled white that opens up and brightens a room.

Wet Areas

Bathrooms, powder rooms, and kitchens — very low absorption with proper sealing.

Outdoor Areas

Façades, barbecues, and patios — granite is a benchmark for weather durability.

Inspirations

From the quarry to the project
— a repertoire of possibilities.

Each Arctic Royale slab carries an unrepeatable signature. Our intent is to inspire new readings of color in kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, and façades.

Technical sheet

Technological characterization

Granite (igneous rock) with a white background speckled with grey and black. The full technological characterization — following the Brazilian standards ABNT NBR 12.766/92, NBR 12.767/92, and NBR 12.768/92 — is being finalized and is available on request. The values below are qualitative and typical of granites.

Petrographic classificationGraniteIgneous rock · medium grain

IIdentification & PetrographyMacroscopic description
  • Rock typeGranite
  • Commercial nameArctic Royale
  • Predominant colorGlacial white
  • MineralsFeldspar, quartz & biotite
  • GranulationMedium
  • OriginBrazil

Macroscopically: a white to light-grey background speckled with crystals of feldspar, quartz, and dark minerals (biotite/amphibole), in a homogeneous granular pattern — the look of fresh snow. Microscopically (typical of the group): a phaneritic igneous rock, with interlocking crystals that give high hardness and resistance.

IIPhysical propertiesABNT NBR 12.766/92
  • Apparent specific massHigh
  • Apparent porosityVery low
  • Water absorptionVery low
  • Ultrasonic pulse velocityHigh

Granites are characterized by very low porosity and absorption and excellent behavior predictability. Arctic Royale's specific values will be confirmed in the official report, currently being finalized.

IIIMechanical strengthABNT NBR 12.767/92
  • Uniaxial compressionHigh
  • Modulus of rupture — flexionElevated
  • Abrasion wearLow

Thanks to its hardness and interlocking crystals, Arctic Royale sits well above the requirements for slabs, floors, and high-demand claddings. For relevant spans or cantilevered countertops, the final decision rests with the engineer of record.

IVDurability & stabilityABNT NBR 12.768/92
  • Freeze/thaw resistanceHigh
  • Linear thermal expansionLow
  • Outdoor performanceExcellent

Granite is one of the most stable ornamental stones against weathering, thermal cycles, and outdoor use — a quality desirable for façades, barbecues, patios, and exposed claddings.

Qualitative values typical of granites, presented while Arctic Royale's official report is being finalized. Validation of structural design and fastening by the engineer of record is always recommended, taking into account natural variations between batches and slabs.

Care & Maintenance

Beauty that lasts — with simple care.

Arctic Royale is a granite: a natural stone of very high hardness and low absorption. Highly resistant, but — like any natural stone — it benefits from periodic sealing and a gentle cleaning routine.

01

Daily cleaning

A soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge, warm water, and neutral detergent. Always dry after cleaning and wipe up spills right away.

02

Sealing

Seal with a quality water-repellent, reapplied every 1 to 3 years depending on use — granite is low in porosity, but the barrier eases cleaning.

03

Heat protection

Very heat-resistant, but extreme thermal shock can mark it. Use trivets to be safe.

04

Cuts & impact

It resists scratches well, but avoid cutting directly on the surface (it dulls your knives) and dropping heavy objects on the edges.

Do

  • Warm water, neutral detergent, and a soft cloth
  • Dry the surface after each cleaning
  • Wipe up spills immediately
  • Seal every 1–3 years
  • Use trivets and a cutting board

Avoid

  • Vinegar, lemon, ammonia, and acidic products
  • Bleach, chlorine, and harsh all-purpose cleaners
  • Steel wool or the abrasive side of sponges
  • Extreme thermal shock directly on the stone
  • Cutting food directly on the countertop

After installation, wait about 24h before using the surface (curing of adhesives and sealants). Always check the instructions from your granite's manufacturer and the fabricator responsible.
